Who doesn't love a cape? It all started when Frank refused to wear a bib...so his mom turned it around and called it a cape. Except, he wanted to carry around his bib....so she took some of his favorite fabric and made him a cape! The new cape was much larger and sofer than a bib. It initially had a velcro enclosure at the neck, but he was not so fond of it, so she sort of "invented" this way of tucking one side into the other. It ensures that your child has a "breakaway" cape in the case of an emergency, and it makes no rough spots on it anywhere. The cape is not meant to be worn unattended however just to ensure your child's safety.
The best part of the cape is that it makes a great blankie when not in use as a cape, or can be a bib in a pinch...or a changing pad, or a snot rag, or a burp cloth. It is so soft and kids love it!!! Perfect for the little guy or gal who carries their blanket with them everywhere they go!
The capes typically measure 20" wide by about 19" tall not including the ties. It fits a two year old perfectly, and a one year old, and heck...you will want to wear it sometimes too!!!
Available in a variety of fabric prints. Please choose Boy or Girl print ~ and I promise you will be happy with the fabric choice!
